We have new work out today JAMA Health Forum exploring if removal of Medicaid prior auths for buprenorphine changed buprenorphine prescriptions
Hypothesis: PAs are a barrier to care and removal will result in more prescriptions
Results: There was minimal change after PA removal

In a new JAMA Pediatrics study, we found reductions in CPS reports in states that eliminated the asset test or increased the income limit for SNAP (ie, food stamp) eligibility - effectively increasing the number of families eligible for assistance meeting a basic need for food.
