Cold Move ‼️

Our friends from BAE Systems, KHM Portsmouth and KBR moved us from 3 Basin to 2 Basin this week, as we get a step closer with our return to Operations in 2024.

It also means we are closer to our sisters HMS Hurworth & HMS Cattistock for Christmas🎄

On day 3️⃣ it's 🥶 outside but in HMS Hurworth it's 🔥

Our Firefighting training has gone up a notch in complexity and now includes casualties⚕️and smoke clearance 💨

🤜We must be self-sufficient and able to deal with any incident without support.

Day2️⃣ of our #training weekend, we took HMS Hurworth on a 'Fast Cruise' to simulate going to sea. Our aim:

🚢Transition from Harbour to Sea Routines.
📋Prove the Watch and Station Bill.
🛟Respond to emergencies, such as Mariner Overboard.

To prepare for our return to sea next year, we have embarked in HMS Hurworth for a weekend of harbour #training .

Day 1️⃣:

⚠️How to live and work on board safely.
🧯Basic Firefighting techniques.

🔴The Captain represented Royal Navy and HMS Ledbury at the Mayor's Civic Service this afternoon.
