Officer Cadets from Britannia Royal Naval College have been embarked in HMS Forth as part of their Initial Sea Training during Phase 1 Initial Officer Training. This week, they got involved in damage control training, learning how we respond to a variety of incidents on board #GoForthAndConquer

After an 18 month deployment in HMS Forth, AB Skippen was awarded the Shipwrights’ Medal for contributions to operations.

Fires and floods can happen at any time on-board a ship such as HMS Forth due to their complex nature, combustible material on-board, pipes failing and more! The crew regularly exercise both scenarios to ensure they are well drilled to save a life, or the ship! ⚓️🚢🔥💧

#WildlifeWednesday this week features our own RAF photographer Cpl Laura Wing from her time onboard HMS Forth down to South Georgia. The island was teaming with wildlife with an amazing backdrop but it was the Antarctic Fur Seals that were the most interesting to capture!

#HMSForth recently carried out a 12 day patrol around the South Georgia Islands, a British Overseas Territory 800 miles east of the Falkland Islands.

The patrol ship has now resumed South Atlantic duties after nearly a year away.
