Raising military spending by 0.5% of GDP is £16bn per year and rising. Renewing Trident is around £30bn to £50bn.
It seems there is a magic money tree, but only for war.
Not the needs of ordinary people or their prosperity.

Hi Wes Streeting MP, I have worked weekends since I left medical school 12 years ago. Now as a consultant I still work 1 in 6 weekends providing county wide tertiary advice in Yorkshire.

We don’t stop working on the weekends or the holidays, unlike MPs or Parliament 🙄
