I guess I'm in the minority, but I find political yard signs (for well-known candidates) to be annoying and not persuasive. Maybe peer pressure affects some people if several of their neighbors display the same signs, but I've always been a contrarian, so not me.

I try to keep my Taylor Swift commentary to a minimum but: I find the 'she doesn't owe ANYBODY ANYTHING' rhetoric very annoying and emblematic of our age. I'm not annoyed by her so much as I am by her most zealous defenders and the attitude that no one owes anyone anything ever.
