As #EidAlFitr begins, let us reflect on the values that we’ve nurtured throughout the holy month of Ramadan, and remind ourselves of our shared obligation to help the more vulnerable. This Eid, I renew my call for peace and dignity for all people regardless their background.

في أول أيام #عيد_الفطر المبارك، دعونا نتدبر القيم التي غرسناها خلال شهر رمضان الفضيل، ونُذَكِّر أنفسنا بالتزامنا المشترك بمساعدة المجتمعات الأكثر ضعفًا. وفي هذا العيد، أجدد دعوتي إلى السلام والكرامة للجميع بغض النظر عن الأصول التي ينتمون إليها.

Lives lost. Hopes and dreams shattered. Investments in health destroyed.

As we approach Eid El-Fitr, people in Gaza deserve respite from the unspeakable pain, grief, and suffering they have faced for more than six months.
