Oh man...diving deep into the OLD shows. I'd redo ALL the old shows if I had the time and give them the multi-hour long modern treatment (although I know some listeners think the brevity and 'lightness' is part of their charm😂). My wife thinks the 16 minute show #1 was too long.

After LOTS of delays, the 'new' website at dancarlin.com is up. I know it looks very similar (the show art is the main visual element after all) but navigation, functionality and the (hopefully much improved) ease of purchasing archived shows should be better.

hey my friend! Not sure...this tour was an experiment to gauge reaction, what worked, etc. might tweak the format (although people seemed to like the way we did it). I always want the people who pay for tickets to really feel what they got was WORTH it. I can't rave enough about

! The early Celtic 'prince' of Hochdorf was buried with two bronze daggers with so-called antenna-hilt, one of which was elaborately covered with gold foil for the burial - a symbol of the deceased's social rank.

I just listened to the latest Dan Carlin Addendum with Annie Jacobsen, and was so fascinated I ended up buying her audiobook Nuclear War: A Scenario. I can’t wait to get in to it!

Sorry, a more savvy marketer would have included a link to actually GET one of the remaining tickets to the NYC live show. But I've still got a lot to learn...obviously.

There's exactly 8 tickets left for the live show I'm doing in New York April 9th. Just letting anyone who wants to go know.😉
Georgetown Poly Sci professor John Griffin is sitting in the inquisitor's chair that night. Hopefully there will be no torture instruments around.

Spoke with the fascinating Annie Jacobsen about her new book 'Nuclear War: A Scenario. Believe it or not, talking more about nuclear holocaust is a good thing.
Another light and airy Hardcore History Addendum for you all. Hope you like (?) it!
