This month, our members in Waltham Forest held a wonderful stall at Hornbeam Centre&Cafe, talking to café customers about their housing and how they can build the power of renters. Our community gets bigger and stronger every day ❤️

The story of the UK's housing crisis is a story of privatisation.

Compared with council housing, private landlords provide poorer-quality, more insecure housing at a greater cost to the public.

The system only works for the wealthy, and that's the point.

While those lucky enough to have bought up property decades ago are guaranteed a comfy retirement, millions of renters will live out our later years in complete insecurity.

We need to transform the role housing plays in our political system. We need homes for people, not profit.
