I will vote against this bill tomorrow night. It won’t deter human traffickers or the desperate people they exploit and breaches UK’s commitments on Human Rights

Just thinking today about how fundamental ⁦Glenys Kinnock⁩ was in pushing forward the role of women in ⁦The Labour Party⁩. She was fierce for us. Nowhere in the world - or at home - would she settle for women being in second place!

Heartbroken that my Mum passed away peacefully in her sleep last night, after many years of Alzheimer’s. She was a beloved Mum & Nain who was adored by her family & friends. A truly formidable person in every single way, and with such a cheeky sense of humour! Rest in peace ❤️❤️

Absolutely devastated about Glenys Kinnock. She was such a kind, generous, beautiful person who went out of her way to support and encourage women, especially in politics. She was strong, formidable, funny and cheeky but most of all she was driven by her deep values & politics.…

What a joyous, clever, caring, dynamic, vivacious woman Glenys Kinnock was. So political, so witty. She made change from the very local to the international. Such a loss. My thoughts with Neil, stephen & Rachel. RIP

A huge figure in Labour govt, he was meticulous because he believed govt should get it right. He eschewed self-aggrandisement because he believed politics was for improving lives not for pol ego. RIP Alistair Darling. Deepest sympathy to his family bbc.co.uk/news/uk-675789…

People voted for Feryal Clark MP to be MP and no one should try and obstruct or intimidate her or her staff. This is an attack on democracy. I hope Metropolitan Police will take seriously. Solidarity with Feryal and her staff.

To end scandal of women underpaid EHRC should have power to set targets for orgs & sectors and fine when target not met. If orgs have to pay fines they’ll end pay gap. (Like other regulators) This was to be next step after Equality Act. Otherwise unequal pay will persist.
