Well, that was rather shyte. Even though they made the GF last season, I expected a lot better from North Melbourne FC. We need to see the gains. We need to see the improvement. We need to see the desire. Otherwise we are just treading water. #AFLLionsNorth
The North Melbourne FC players need to put in a great second half or face the wrath of their members. As much as the first few games have been encouraging to a point, all the goodwill will go out the window.

Haven’t been able to watch any of the North Melbourne FC game til now but socials have blown up with umpiring …
What stands out is 6 x 50m penalties to 0 - that seems off to me.
Have we deserved them or has the umpiring been bad? Have we lacked discipline? #AFLNorthBlues
I don’t think it was a terrible day for North Melbourne FC by any stretch. Disappointing to some degree but much to like, plenty of positives and heaps to build on.
Great 1st half, but another massive fade out in the 2nd. We just can’t go the distance RN.
Thoughts? #AFLRoosDockers
7 in a row - flood gates have opened. The normal North Melbourne FC way is to stand back and watch the flood, so interested to see if we can make a change to stem the flow. I’m told the gastro / flu / virus outbreak can’t be an excuse as it wasn’t that significant. #AFLRoosDockers
Promising passages of great North Melbourne FC play and great pressure, undone by a poor skill error under little pressure. Clean that last one up and we can skip ahead here! Good signs early and great to see Jy Simpkin back out there. #AFLRoosDockers

Another great contribution to North Melbourne FC from the great Anthony Stevens. A champion who has always put the club first and given back as much as he could.
Who should fill the vacated role? What does the club need most right now and what skills are required?
