We're thrilled Friends of Hartwood Paupers Cemetery is Scotland's Project of the Year in the National Lottery Awards.
They've identified 1255 people buried without names in a Lanarkshire wood.
Putting names to graves, providing dignity in death. Reconnecting the forgotten with families around the world.
The Scotland Project of the Year 2023 in the #NLAwards has been announced! 📢
Congratulations to Friends of Hartwood Paupers Cemetery, who have been recognised for giving names and dignity back to once forgotten pauper patients and staff of Hartwood Asylum through their #NationalLottery project. 👏
Great coverage for Horniman Museum and Gardens Habitats of Hope exhibition in London.
And fantastic to see Scotland's Species on the Edge highlighted on the exhibition website.
It's working with island and coastal communities to support at risk species.
