After lots of consideration, we've decided to reschedule the Spring Thaw Car Show to April 28th instead of this Sunday, April 21st. The weather forecast isn't promising, so we're aiming for a gorgeous day for our gathering. Let's make April 28th a day to remember!

The countdown begins!

It's official! In just 30 days, Heritage Park will be fully reopened. Check out the revival of our beloved Big Eli Ferris Wheel! Mark your calendars for May 18, and check out all the exciting activities at the Park before our grand reopening!

On July 1, 1964, Heritage Park opened its gates for the first time. The Park had only 21 buildings and a standard-gauge railway. Today, the Park boasts over 180 exhibits.

Now, the Park's gearing up to kick off another season just 30 days from now!

In 1961, the concept of our Heritage Park's 'pioneer village' was born from the collaboration between the Woods Foundation and the City of Calgary Board of Commissioners. Back in the mid-20th century, they envisioned a living museum to preserve our Western heritage.
