After inspecting the ground yesterday there is no chance of conditions improving sufficiently to allow for practice this Friday.
The junior season has been put back a week to April 28th so we still have a couple of weeks prior to the season.

Due to Weather this week, Junior training has been postponed and will start on Friday, the 12th of April. Can’t wait to see you all there!

The club will still be showing the Manchester United vs Liverpool fixture in the pavilion. Club opens at 2:30pm, game starts at 3:30.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather we’ve had in the build up and the upcoming forecast our ground staff have had no choice to postpone the upcoming friendly match in memory of Dennis Booth. Another date will be arranged at a later point in the season.

Our All Stars summer starts on Friday 3rd May, we can’t wait to see sign ups start this week… ⭐️

Many of you will have known Dennis Booth and be aware of his incredible support for both Heywood Cricket Club and Heywood St James football as well as other sport in the town.

To celebrate his life we are hosting a cricket match on:

Sunday 7th April - 1pm start.

A memorial match to celebrate the life of Dennis Booth is being held on Sunday 7th April, 1pm start.

It is between Heywood CC and Heywood St James AFC and will be a great chance for friends to come together and celebrate all Dennis did for sport in the town
