The other day I heard a colleague I didn't know well say something pretty woke (and I thought 'aha, I've got you pegged!'), and 5 minutes later they were saying something pretty anti-woke (and I was 'oh?').

If you're not too-online, a lot of Twitter categories don't quite fit.

I'm unironically glad that people like Hedges are 'challenging the mainstream narrative.' Conventional wisdom and groupthink regularly get stuff wrong.

That said, the mainstream narrative is usually closer to the truth than the sometimes bonkers people challenging it.🤷‍♂️
