Coming to the end of a fun first week as a VRF UQ History working with Kate Ariotti. Thanks to all for making me welcome and to Arts, Humanities and Cultures, University of Leeds for funding my visit via an International Researcher Mobility Award.

the upside to being in iso is that i'm home for the delivery of my book. i can't believe it actually exists. this book is the result of many years work and the thoughts that are created by learning from so many people. i'm deeply indebted.

Flights booked! I’m heading home to Australia for the first time in 3.5 years! I cannot wait. This is going to get me through the monsoon of marking that is about to rain down on me.
