I don't know how I’d never seen this lettering before, from one of the “type Kaufmann” 50 deustschemark notes (1948–1960). That is some fraktur.

I’m very fond of Northwestern University Library Preservation’s instagram (nul_prescons) — today they wrote up a case study of adapting a binding for digitization. I love seeing what goes into these projects!
