Class 3D loved exploring the fabulous works of artist Jason Messinger today. They added touches of vibrant green and yellow to white paint to create different tones of brightness for a jaw dropping class display!

The children in Reception had an amazing time during Science Day! They made raisins dance, created lava lamps, observed water rainbows, and even caused a few exciting explosions. The expressions of joy on their faces and their screams of excitement said it all.

Nursery 1 celebrated world book day by listening to the story of The Tiger Who Came for Tea. The children also enjoyed having a tea party with the tiger. 🐯☕️

After reading the story Shapless Lee, 1R felt inspired and made each of their finger prints into different animals! No matter what your shape, you always have a meaning! 📚🌟 #WorldBookDay

Class 5E welcomed reception up to class for a book café where they read their favourite books to the younger ones. The children then enjoyed some quiet time to read their own books. A wonderful morning for all involved. Well done 5E! #WorldBookDay

RK celebrated World Book Day by looking at Little Red Riding Hood. They measured objects using blocks, completed a story yoga and retold the story using masks.

4J had a Fabulous time on Workd Book Day.
They found The Tear Thief by Carol Ann Duffy to be excellent inspiration for their own poetry and had a fantastic time reading, sharing books and enjoying a hot chocolate and a biscuit at the Reading Cafe 📖 #WorldBookDay2024

The girls in baking club did a fantastic job making fudge. It smells delicious!

In art, 6S analysed Kitty Jones's artwork and learnt about her process when creating her pieces. The children thoroughly enjoyed making their own notes using a variety of media.

Class 5E took part in the ‘Sally up, Sally down’ challenge for our last lesson of fitness in PE. There were many tired and red faces afterwards!
