Last week, the classes enjoyed a visit from Chief Chebe. His music workshops were full of enthusiasm and the pupils loved finding out about life in Ghana and playing the instruments!

P5 and P7 enjoyed taking part in programming and coding workshops today with Generation Science. A huge thank you to the Parent and Carers Voice for funding all the workshops.

Our JRSOs and pupil leadership team helped out at the Living Streets community event at Holmston yesterday to find out about issues in the community that stop people from walking. Thanks to all who came and shared their ideas. #livingstreets #activetravel

P7 have been very busy in their fundraising efforts. They managed to be silent for a prolonged period of time during their sponsored silence (they can do it!) and then hosting a bake sale after school. #citizenship #creativity

We really enjoyed STEM week and showcasing our work in science, technology, engineering and maths during British Science week. We had webinars and visits and tried lots of experiments. We also invited our families in to help. #stemweek

Our Dance club loved performing at The Gaiety last week at the Dance Mania Show. Well done all and thanks to the amazing Dance Leaders for giving up their time to help.

HUGE thank you to E's daddy for being our Mystery Reader last week! He read The Fox 🦊 Who Stole The Moon 🌙 - a beautifully illustrated story about friendship - and this was magical! We were gifted the book for our class library so we can enjoy reading it again. Thank you! 😊
