HHS Students. This is Mr. Addis. There is a leak in our high school building that will keep our building closed at the moment. We are closing the high school for the day and will work with our AP students and families on today’s test.

Such a wonderful combination of students today…working together during a golf scramble at Lake Forest. This is an inclusive opportunity for our sociology students to play golf, laugh, and eat with students from our Special Education Classrooms.

Thankful to have our EWIS students working on their garden. Beautiful day for these Explorers to add to a strong project!

As part of the Bloodhound project, our EWIS built the race cars, made physical adjustments through work, and then launched them today at Memorial Stadium. A truly amazing project involving our kids and staff.

Celebrating our AI Exploration Day teams! Students designed a use for AI, then presented to their peers and judges. Each group was INSPIRING! Thank you, mentors!!

Thankful that Hudson City Schools mission goes well beyond test scores and academic results, but also able to celebrate the effort of our students, staff and families. Congratulations to everyone for the engagement and hard work!

Congrats to HHS unit principal, Mr. Michael Sedlak, Hudson’s Care Award winner in a ceremony tonight. Micheal works hard in many areas, including a focus on student and district safety.

It’s late on a Monday, but I can’t finish the day without a tribute to Starbooks. It’s much less expensive than its namesake and full of amazing Ellsworth kids. I was so thankful to read to them after school today. Made my day!! Thanks for the invite!!

This is Hudson today! Empathetic Contributor Day. Maple Syrup, Ellsworth visiting East Woods, and Operation Maui! Our day has been active, collaborative and positive. It’s been a great school day.
