We’d like to congratulate a couple of incoming Huskies on a great end to their minor hockey careers. Avery Gottselig and the Regina Rebels won the Esso Cup National Championship, while Aeryn Flanagan and the Edmonton Jr Oilers captured bronze.

Best of luck to our assistant coach, Christine Bumstead, as she will lead Team Canada as the Head Coach at the Jeff Sauer International Deaf Hockey Series in Buffalo. We’re extremely proud of Christine and can’t wait to see her work with this group of young women!

🏆 Heart and Soul 🏆
This year’s Heart and Soul Award goes to team captain, Kennedy Brown. Kennedy wears her heart on her sleeve and bleeds Huskie green. She excels on the ice, in the classroom, and volunteers her time in the community as well.

🏆 Most Valuable Player 🏆

For the third straight season our team MVP is Camryn Drever. Cam had a career and program best 15 wins this season and also put up the best save percentage in the entire country at 0.954.

🏆 Rookie of the Year 🏆

The Rookie of the Year award this season goes to Jacquelyne Chief. Jack showed continued improvement throughout the season and put up four points from the blue line. She also finished her rookie season with a +/- of +4.

🏆 Top Defence 🏆

Isabella Pozzi takes home the Top Defence honours for the Huskies this year. She finished the season with her best offensive totals of her career with 4 goals and 9 assists.

🏆 Top Forward 🏆

Sophie Lalor caps off her Huskie career taking home our Top Forward Award. Sophie saved her best for last, putting up a team-best 22 points (12 Goals, 10 Assists) in her final season.
