Over 70 pounds of unused or expired medications were collected this weekend at our annual Drug Take Back event. Collected items will be safely destroyed, keeping our community ever safer! We (and K9 Linzer) are grateful to all of you who stopped by.
Thank you, City of Hyattsville!
Heads up, Hyattsville!
Music and other noises *may* sound closer than usual this weekend as projectglowfest comes to the RFK Festival Grounds.
There is no cause for alarm! We just wanted to make you aware. The festival is set to end on Sunday, April 28 at 11 pm.
Well, we quite liked that!
Thank you to all who joined us for Chat with a Chief this morning. K9 Linzer also enjoyed his first event featuring coffee and donuts. 10/10 would recommend again, he noted.
We hope you have a great rest of your Thursday, City of Hyattsville!
These two women make sure we are squared away, we’re able to serve you effectively & our department always sticks together. They make it look easy, but we know how hard they work! On #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay , we wanted to extend a sincere note of thanks for all they do. 💙
There will be a fireworks display around 8 p.m. tonight, Saturday, April 20, at Driskell Park as part of City of Hyattsville’s 138th anniversary celebration! 🎆🎇🎆🎇 Expect increased noise levels in the area.
We look forward to seeing everyone beginning at 4 p.m. today, Saturday, April 20, for City of Hyattsville’s 138th Anniversary at Driskell Park! 🎉🚔

They are the calm voice in the chaos.
They are our 'first' first responders.
They listen, learn, and let us know that help is on the way.
We couldn't this without our dispatchers. Here's to all who have answered the call to serve. Thank you. 💛
