Did you know, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is a type of minimally invasive surgery (introduced in the early 90's) for diagnosing/treating many thoracic conditions, including #lungcancer . It’s performed using a tiny tube w/a small video camera at the end. #LCSM #IASLC50
