Six months since the escalation of hostilities between Gaza & Israel, the situation is dire.

A steady flow of humanitarian aid is needed, but this is only part of the solution: Both sides must conduct their military operations in a way that spares civilians caught in the middle.

Marina is one of the thousands of families forced to flee the conflict in Sudan who have taken refuge in Boro Medina, South Sudan.

Most arrive in dire conditions, a significant concern in areas with limited resources and services.

As part of ICRC Ethiopia's humanitarian response, 3,000 families have received food and essential household items.

Armed clashes have resulted in;

👉🏾 suspension of public services,
👉🏾 impacted healthcare and clean water supply access,
👉🏾availability of seeds and fertilizers.

As the conflict escalates in #Myanmar 's Kachin State, thousands of people have been displaced.

In situations like this, our priority is addressing immediate needs like water and shelter. We are providing emergency assistance to 172 families.

For every person taken hostage on October 7th, countless family members – parents, children, siblings – like those of Alexander Lobanov, spend every hour missing them.

Hostage-taking is prohibited under international humanitarian law.

The hostages must be immediately released.
