64 protected birds of prey have been killed in NI by banned pesticides in the past 15 yrs. I've signed a petition to prohibit their possession as they threaten wildlife and potentially pets, livestock & people. Pls sign to help reach 50000! chng.it/k7MCDRQb via Change.org UK
Did you know that reckless disturbance of nesting birds is a Wildlife Crime? Disturbance can cause breeding failure. Keep to the path, keep dogs on a leash & if you hear birds alarming or mobbing move away. Let's all do our bit to help this Spring #PAWNI

Totally shameful. Sadly a predictable outcome following yesterday’s ruling. Follow BirdLife Malta for updates on their work monitoring this hunting season, open now until the end of the month. 😢
We’re on the lookout for an exceptional individual who has dedicated themselves to improving the fortunes of Scottish species, either through conservation and research, or by inspiring others. 👀🤩

The restoration of nesting and foraging habitats is essential if we are to reverse the decline of one of our rarest birds of prey - the hen harrier, DAERA Minister Andrew Muir MLA has warned. More info: daera-ni.gov.uk/news/action-ne…
We are pleased to work with RSPB England to monitor hen harriers, and welcome the encouraging increase in England.
However, illegal killing still casts a shadow over valuable partnership work to recover populations, and we continue to support the police in their investigations.
