Fun fact: Henry Garcia kinda told Mannix to eff off in the ring before greeting Eddie Hearn the same way in the hallway later Saturday night.

Ryan Garcia said he doesn't think Tank will beat Frank Martin, who is also trained by Derrick James. But if he does, he would welcome a rematch with Tank. Oscar says they would have to do it at a catch weight of 145 pounds.

Ryan Garcia just said he can't make 140 anymore. He is moving up to 147 for his next fight. Says it's physically impossible for his body to get below 143. Garcia weighed in at 143.2 pounds Friday.

Ryan Garcia says he thinks referee Harvey Dock did a 'horrible' job. He can't understand how Dock took a point from him in the 7th round, when Haney held him tightly & Garcia hit him.

Ryan Garcia just said during his press conference that he drank 'every day' in camp. He noted that he's not proud of that, but he did what he needed to do to get through it.

No surprise here, really. But EXTREMELY unlikely Garcia could lose 3 pounds in the time permitted by the New York State Athletic Commission, which would make him ineligible to win the WBC super lightweight title from the heavily favored Haney.

I haven't been 140 since like 6th grade, so what do I know? But boy, this must've been a tough weight cut for Garcia.

Eddie Hearn expects Boots to make a mandatory defense of his IBF welterweight title against Canada's Cody Crowley sometime in July in his hometown of Philadelphia. Ennis, 26, hasn't fought in Philly since he knocked out Raymond Serrano in the 2nd round in November 2018.

Eddie Hearn is no longer concerned about Ryan Garcia squeezing down to 140 pounds tomorrow afternoon in Brooklyn.
“When he lifted his top up, I actually think he’s gonna make weight,” Hearn told us after the press conference today. “I didn’t yesterday.”

I legitimately lost track of how many alarming things Ryan Garcia said today on stage at Barclays Center. And that was just during the press conference. If this is all a work, as Bill Haney suggested, it's Andy Kaufman-level acting on his part.

When one of Haney's team members mentioned Ryan Garcia's mother, Garcia responded by saying his mom is sliding into his DMs (among other more vulgar things).

Bill Haney just mocked Ryan Garcia by giving him a copy of 'Psychology for Dummies' during their press conference. Garcia immediately threw it off the stage. Haney reminded him that George Kambosos did something similar & that didn't exactly work out well for him.

This Devin Haney-Ryan Garcia controversy is getting more attention locally than any Mets first pitch since Baba Booey’s “bit of a misstep.”

Efe Ajagba showed resilience & versatility with, as Tim Bradley emphasized, his Top Rank contract at stake tonight. Guido Vianello obviously had his moments, especially early. Ultimately, though, this was his career in a nutshell -- solid, yet just not good enough to get it done.

Have to feel bad for Tim Tszyu based on how the entire fight changed due to his grotesque cut. But good for Sebastian Fundora, who redeemed himself after that brutal knockout loss to Brian Mendoza last year. And fought through a badly bloodied nose most of the fight himself.
