The similarities between religious scriptures never cease to amaze me.

“…for she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” (Matthew 9:20-22) KJV

first year celebrating in toronto.

dixie gurdwara brampton is a madness right now. driving in takes an hour minimum and the line up to enter is about 2 hours and then adding another to light a candle.

i used to think 30 minutes in london was hectic.

For many Hindus, Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is the Festival of Lights and is celebrated every year as the spiritual “victory of light over darkness”

May this Diwali bring even more brighter lights to your life.

with innocents still being killed, today i reflect on 1984. this piece was in memory of all lives lost and for those still enduring the pain within my community.

it’s important to know why this month is significant and fragile to sikh history… and the horror that followed.
