Feels important to share I recently got diagnosed with something I’ve known about myself for quite sometime.

Getting an autism diagnosis has been massively validating and I feel like I’ve finally started to accept who I am and the way my brain works 🩷

i struggle with days like #WorldAutismAcceptanceDay because it can feel a bit icky to be ‘meaningful on demand’, but discovering that i was autistic was truly the single most defining moment of my entire existence

After two years in the making, Free Loaves on Fridays has made it to the warehouse!

To know future generations of children/adults from care will see themselves represented in mainstream bookshops means everything.

The media industry can be incredibly exploitative & trauma-mining is rife. This eve we will be grappling with journalism ethics, well-being & controlling the narrative.

Celebrating #CareDay24 from down under this year. As a young person who grew up in foster care for over 12 years, I have always had a dream of travelling to Australia and living there for a while. The dream for many years seemed far-fetched, but this year, it came true. 1/

For #CareDay24 , I’d like to make space to remember our care experienced brothers & sisters we lost too early ❤️‍🩹 there have been many #CEP voices who have defined this community over the years and I want to take a moment to thank them for being role models for so many of us.

For far too long, care experienced people have been subject to other people’s words in meetings, reports & care files.

The exception has been the odd feedback form, where our words are shoehorned in.
