Calling for violence against Jews and publicly supporting terrorism is not political activism.

I strongly agree with President Biden: “There should be no place on any campus, no place in America, for antisemitism or threats of violence against Jewish students.” Peaceful protest is vital to our democracy. Violent acts, threatening Jewish classmates & blocking safe learning are not.

Across university campuses in the United States, a troubling trend has emerged. These slogans are not just political rhetoric, they’re outright antisemitic.

University campuses should be spaces for open dialogue, understanding, and tolerance.
