Thank you. That is gratifying to hear. Max always stays in the front of my mind during the holidays. He would have turned 30 in a couple of weeks. It’s hard to imagine who he would be. But it’s interesting to consider.

And this was the most-watched season in a while, wasn’t it? When the CFP began, I recall a lot of talk about squeezing five champs into four slots. We forgot how uncomfortable it could be.

Would be hard to argue with DeBoer as Coach of the Year but this may be Saban’s best season as a head coach. None of his previous 27 teams matured more over the course of a season than this Alabama Football team. The enjoyment he has taken from this team is written all over his face.
