Last homeschool science unit of the year is on safety. Baby has determined she can teach it herself, ironically by balancing precariously on a chair.

Friends, per the below, what financial/home maintenance/other topics would you add to a list of “things a SAHM” needs to know.

Watching the Yankees with my 6-year old. Me: Ok, bud, time for bed. Son: But moooooommm the game is still going. Me: Fine, fine, you can listen to it on the radio in bed. Son: The WHAT?

Just spent 45 minutes making dinner while the toddler threw an epic tantrum which caused the puppy to bark incessantly. Unfortunately am pregnant so can’t even pour myself a stiff drink 😵‍💫

I am constantly intrigued that society is happy to recognize women who make enormous sacrifices to reach the top of their career ladder (you don’t become a top ranked doctor or lawyer without sacrifice) but not women who do the same with respect to family life.

6 hours of play rehearsal for one kid (but have to bring the whole crew) followed by 2 hours of baseball practice. Today is going to be a doozy.

The baby is sitting on her oldest brother's lap snuggling him while he does fourth grade math problems. This is the most special part of homeschooling.
