Fair play to Walker for getting through 120 minutes off the back of a hamstring injury. Cost us the first goal but probably saved us one or two with his pace.

I’m more bothered by Bernardo’s overall performance than the penalty alone. For a guy with a reputation for his technical ability, he used the ball really poorly across both legs.

The penalty summed up his overall performance. Not enough quality.

Is what it is. I’ve had far worse Champions League heartbreak than that. Penalty shoot-out against Real Madrid. What can you do eh
