1/ I’m seeing a greater number of patients with #PostCovidSyndrome - they are the folks in the grey zones in which they had significant symptoms after contracting #SARSCoV2 but never met criteria for admission to the hospital.

2/ One HIPAA-compliant case was a pt who never got tested, but whose spouse did have a confirmed positive #covid19 test. Both had moderate symptoms including cough, f/c, and significant GI Sx in the spring. Not to mention profound weakness.

3/ Despite not having validation of serum antibody testing, it made sense to run the test given the persistence Sx if cough and fatigue. cochrane.org/CD013652/INFEC…

4/ As suspected, there was presence of antibodies (IgG denoting prior exposure/illness)
