Well it was a decent day to at least get some maintenance done on the greens. Verti-drain,scarify,solid tine,top dress.
Hopefully a dry night to finish off tomorrow. 🙏

Saturated ground conditions and growth potential more consistent with April/May averages. Not a great combo this time of year 🫤

With all the free wood some clubs have access to then why aren’t clubhouses running log burners,open fires etc to heat them? Could make significant savings against huge energy costs. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I enjoy measuring the effective height of cut with the new Turf HOC gauge. It uses a line laser beam to pass directly over (or through) the turf canopy. Also great for finding those leaves that didn't get cut.

Moving along nicely on the 18th, the 2 rhs bunkers to become 1 and grading out the banking at the back of the green to create a potential runoff.
