This is the lowest I’ve seen the #Ribble in what feels like months. Such a wet summer, winter and early spring! Was treated to seeing my first rising fish on the Ribble in 2024

Well looks like my adopted bit of river bank is going to need some serious attention this year. Last year I wasn’t around as much to get on top of the Himalayan Balsam, and it shows… #INNS

An evening stroll last night and these ash #tree silhouettes were interesting. Out of 10, 9 looked clearly impacted (differing stages) by #ash back but 1 still pretty healthy

Huge work required to move the “dial” here. There is collective momentum let’s hope that converts into positive change!

Volunteers Ian & Michael helped us hand plant the remaining trees @Maudland Bank,Preston. The field has been too wet to access with a digger to finish planting large landscape trees. 19 trees were planted at this @PrestonCouncil site to enhance this urban greenspace for wildlife.

So pleased to have secured this funding to support us reviving our #catchment and our iconic #species whilst delivering benefits for local communities! Our huge thanks to Defra UK and The National Lottery Heritage Fund
