JLS celebrated the 2021 and 2022 National Champions, Runners-up and all parish champions of the National Reading Competition at an award ceremony held on August 26, 2022 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. #reignitinganationtoread

To be considered a nation’s hero is the greatest honor that can be bestowed on an individual. The Right Excellent Sir Alexander Bustamante has been an exemplary figure and in this our 60th year of independence, it is quite fitting that we unveil this monument in his honor.

Our first project with the JLS will be the renovation and revitalization of the Joyce Robinson Hall at their HQ at Tom redcam drive with the support of our private sector partners.

We will also utilize JLS locations islandwide to execute hybrid learning programmes with special emphasis on literacy, numeracy and skills training programmes geared to adults.
