For today's Our World in Data Data Insight I calculated how many children died since 1950.
I had never done this before and I was shocked to see just how many lives ended so very early.
Last year when Royal College of Emergency Medicine exposed the scale of deaths associated with long waits we were gaslit by NHSE who questioned the data without providing credible reasons. It has stood up to scrutiny. This reestimate is conservative, and scandalous rcem.ac.uk/wp-content/upl… 1/2

UK Health Security Agency has now translated its covid prevalence into incidences (a heck of a work)
This allow me to compare the felt severity of covid in England last winter with this winter ... and it's well down!
But this does not necessarily mean it's down world-wide
