And now...my sciatica has returned after over 10 years. And, I might add, returned with a vengeance. I could hardly sleep last night. I can hardly walk after driving home from work. And, of course, it returned because of all the driving. Which was why I had it originally.

Writing: hard

Making it good: harder

Selling books: hardest

Staying positive day in and day out in a world full of haters, racists, misogynists, assholes, homophobes, predators, and other assorted wastes of oxygen: almost impossible

Drove 130 mi roundtrip to job. Drove another 50 mi roundtrip tonight to pick up oldest at university. Finished Draenei heritage armor quest. Loved quest chain SO MUCH. Wrote 602 words. Going to crash now.

Today was hard. Bad consulting job stuff. Also an extra long drive home due to most of one freeway being closed because of a truck partially over a big drop. Wrote 1,004 words. Read 3 chapts in a new book.
