Bears' new stadium would seat 65k, similar to Soldier Field, but have larger capacity because of increased SRO areas.

Will be a turf field, but exact type yet to be determined.

Target opening is 2028 season with no transitional venue needed during construction.

Justin Fields impressed me a ton as a person during his time with the Bears. Incredibly mature for his age. He was very good to deal with, and I have a lot of respect for him.

The Bears' trading Justin Fields wasn't solely about Caleb Williams. Uncertainty about Fields' trajectory as a passer coupled with high enough grades on multiple QBs in the upcoming draft to justify a change led to this move--
