A6) Relevancy is key - Ss are more likely to engage if they see how it directly affects them. Also, the promise that problems & solutions don't have to be grand. Sometimes a small change has the greatest impact. #sschat

A4) Combating the Post Truth Era - helping Ss to really see the evidence in front of them & to recognize that it's not a weakness to accept it. #sschat

A3) I have a supportive Admin but still have to remind myself to be brave & not shy away from the hard topics/conversations. It is important for experts to push beyond the myths and legends to share the good and the bad of the founding era. #sschat

A2) Creating jigsaw activities where student groups investigate a perspective & then jigsaw to put the perspectives together to tell the story. Museums are key to developing exhibits or collections that include a variety of perspectives and evidence. #sschat

A1) Giving Ss time to delve into the person, not just the historical figure they may know. It is important to see they are fallible humans - it makes them more relatable. #sschat
