Great example of passive veteran tree retention by the National Trust at Dunster Castle, Somerset. It is an old Holm oak (Quercus ilex) about 150+ years old, with an impressive trunk and root structure, making it a valuable emerging heritage asset.

An excellent example of heritage tree management in Prague. Its a plane (Platanus sp) about 180 years old & is highly ranked as an international heritage tree because its of special interest for visual, scientific, & cultural reasons, as explained in the video commentary.

Mature beech (Fagus sylvatica) adapted and thriving in the most challenging of conditions.

Tree protection on construction sites is often tarnished by incompetence, apathy, & ignorance. I will review if these barriers can ever be breached at the Trees, Planning & Construction conference at Braxted Park Estate in Essex.
