If you like watching scenes of eyeballs being removed from people's heads, and also Gloria Grahame, I would suggest, perhaps, MANSION OF THE DOOMED (1976), which combines both these things, which I believe is unusual.

I think this is right - it's interesting how Tracy/Hepburn and Burton/Taylor don't quite fit into either of these categories, even though you'd think they'd be natural ones for any Hollywood ubercouple (and of course Liz/Dick aren't quite 'classical')
