Great to meet so many of our cybersecurity and IT students. These young people have taken a pledge to pursue a career in cybersecurity and protect our nation's digital assets. Their future is bright!

The Rhode Island Society for Technology in Education recently hosted a Cybersecurity Response Planning event on campus.

The FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, RI State Police and other industry leaders joined us to discuss cybersecurity resources and trends and lead a series of tabletop games!

The Institute is hiring a Director. We're looking for someone to help set the direction of the organization as we endeavor to prepare Rhode Island College students for the cybersecurity jobs of the 21st century.

Let’s pass a first-of-its-kind cybersecurity bond to grow Rhode Island College’ current program into a cybersecurity school of choice. And in 5 years, let's have 1k students enrolled in this school, graduating 250 a year with these degrees.

Now that Rep. Gabe Amo has been officially sworn in, RI’s Congressional delegation is back to full strength. Rep. Amo has dedicated his career to public service. He will be an outstanding advocate for the 1st district & the four of us will work closely together for ALL RIers.

The images coming out of Israel following Hamas’s cowardly and unprovoked terrorist attack are horrific.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Israel.

Israel is under attack by Hamas and the world should condemn Hamas in the strongest possible terms for this premeditated unprovoked attack.
Israel has the right to defend herself by all means necessary.
Hamas must end this violence and free the innocent hostages they’ve taken.

I’m saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Brother Michael Reis, a true visionary who dedicated his life to helping Rhode Island children and families through Tides Family Services. He will be greatly missed but His legacy lives on in all those he helped.
