On Christmas Eve my father would tell us,

Joanne Kane, Chair of the Bar Council Young Barristers' Committee, said that new, additional investment in the Young Bar is an investment in the future of the Bar; the Young Bar needs to be valued, and if not, the entire justice system suffers #CLAR #legalaid

Congratulations to @BarCouncilChair Derek Sweeting QC, who has been appointed as a High Court judge. Derek, who will be known as The Honourable Mr Justice Sweeting, will take up his role on 11 January 2022.
