Sunday was celebrated globally as Good Deed Day. My wife invited Hon. Kevin Bernard and I to join her in this initiative. We used the day to sit with seniors and interacting with residents across our Orange Walk Central community.

April 5th - Palestinian Children's Day is observed bring focus to Palestinian children who live under extremely difficult conditions.

With the current Israeli-Hamas War impact on the people of Gaza we join the global call for respect of human rights, especially children rights.

Our thoughts are with the government, people and our friends of Taiwan. This morning a 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred just offshore the east coast of the island nation, and felt in its capital city Taipei and many counties. The quake experienced was the strongest in 25 years.

Signed and sealed... the agreement with the stevedores and their CWU representatives has been effected.

The work continues as we ensure the Port of Belize remains a viable critical infrastructure supporting national development.

We had a productive session today with representatives for the stevedores, who are members of the CWU. Along with several of our Ministers, we engaged in a cordial discussion and arrived at an agreement. The legal advisors will now represent that in a legal document to be signed.

Congratulations to the Belize Water Services Ltd team as Belize has been selected to host the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) 2025 annual conference.

Today, I met with the visiting Directors of the CWWA and Executives of BWS.

We're on the right track... unemployment is down and the economy rebounded aggressively in 2021 and 2023/24 show an economy steadily growing.

Unemployment down from 14% to 3.4%. The economy growing at a steady 10.4%.

Steady hands... steady economic growth... for ALL Belize 🇧🇿.

Our democracy is at work today. I exercised my ultimate democratic right - I voted with my wife H. E. Rossana Briceño.

As leader of my Party and country, it's of high value that we've always demonstrated democratic and political maturity during our elections.
