'My pulse will be quickenin'
With each drop of strychnine
We feed to a pigeon
It just takes a smidgin
To poison a pigeon in the park
We'll murder them amid laughter and merriment
Except for the few we take home to experiment'

Tom Lehrer, born in 1928.

Who funds the 'World Centre Kitchen' in Gaza and why do they need to employ former British Army Mercenaries?

So, how terrible that an NGO in Gaza, the World Central Kitchen, who no-one has never heard of, and whose funding is quite vague, lost three British ex-servicemen (one ex-SBS).

I was at a loss for words, until I found one that fitted - Mercenaries!

In the late 19th century, two ships, the HMS Deutschland and the USS Coast of Maine (1889), both sank in accidents on 1st April.

The odd coincidence is that both ships' names are anagrams of 'red sun waned'.
