Great to be back in the Falklands and delighted to see #JHSU ( Joint Helicopter Support Squadron ) listed on war memorial, I’m sure we weren’t there originally, and Tactical Supply Wing (@RAFSC_TSWAssn ). Thinking of those lost on #AtlanticConveyor and our own JHSU survivors Sgt Johnson and LCpl Shepherd.

An early start & long day for our Mobile Air Ops Team briefing & processing the large number of pax carried by a No 27 Sqn ATC Chinook & Royal Navy Merlin. Jointery & teamwork in action. #TogetherWeDeliver #AcrossAllBoundaries

The team of 3 MAOT Leaders from the Sqn used Pumas from 230 ‘Tiger’ Sqn RAF as well as on foot with members of the Brunei Jungle Warfare Division to reach remote jungle landing points. Recces of approx 50 sites were completed. Essential support to allow safe operations to continue.

Christmas “friendly” Football Match.
A highly competitive game with the bragging rights of winning at stake, the experience of the Seniors stole the win after an 18 (!) goal penalty shoot out! 🏆A great day of bonding.

A RAF Benson Puma Helicopter from 33 Sqn, has flown #Santa to Oxfordshire Childrens Hospital to deliver over 200 presents donated by RAF Benson personnel & their families, and children from over 35 local schools, in 5 years the Santa Drop has donated approximately 1000 presents

The Squadron are proud to be part of RAF Benson and pay our respects to the fallen alongside other Station personnel. #WeWillRememberThem
