Don’t post much on X these days. Documenting Carrington Moss in South Manchester. As Greater Manchester Council are close to making a decision to build a road and 15,000 house on prime agricultural land. Is this the last field of carrots on Carrington Moss !

Arrived today and it’s great - yes the music but it’s more than that a pictorial history of Glasgow from 1979 to 1990 through the lens of Martin McClenaghan.Thanks to ⁦On The Verge of Want⁩ and ⁦Lost Glasgow⁩ for alerting me to the photo book.

Went to the Albert Hall in Manchester last night. My kind of place pillars , peeling paint, stained glass windows, great acoustics and a wooden floor that’s absorbed gallons of split beer ! Sublime set by Gregory Alan Isakov

The joys of film photography is that sometimes things go wrong. It did with this picture of Harvey’s Bar on the Maryhill Rd. I look at this picture with a bit of sadness as I know it’s going to be a while until I’m back enjoying a pint of Guinness. All the best everyone.

A big thank you to everyone who engaged with this, RT’d etc. Nobody has come forward - the chances of making that one connection after 44 years was always going to be slim. Again, thank you, just want you to know your efforts have been appreciated.

Recently interviewed on BBC Radio Scotland's Afternoon Show BBC Radio Scotland Afternoon Show .Agreed to make one last attempt to find one of the boys playing on the ice.Taken early January 1978 on the Forth & Clyde Canal, Maryhill, Glasgow. Just in case this picture jogs someone's memory.
