To provide additional context, Georgia Pathways launched on 7/1/23.

NC expanded Medicaid on 12/1/23—5 months later.

This is what NC’s enrollment numbers look like.

It’s 100s of 1000s vs a few thousand.

And Pathways is more expensive for Georgia than full expansion.

Kemp’s ego about his waiver attempt (3,808 enrollees! He said, just give it time) is the main reason hundreds of thousands of Georgians are going to wait at least another year for health insurance.

Imagine the countless personal tragedies that would be avoided this year alone.
