We are researching the amount of public money being funnelled into private mental health companies. Just received this from one NHS Trust.

In 2019, they spent £205,703 on 'unplanned' patient beds in private mental health hospitals.

By 2023, they spent £7,083,987 🚨

Regardless of what politicians tell you, the private healthcare sector does not have ‘spare capacity’ unless they poach staff from the NHS.

I haven’t heard a single journalist challenge Wes Streeting on this yet - he has offered no data about this imaginary spare capacity 🚨

We have just emailed the GMC, regarding their open consultation about the regulation of Anaesthesia Associates and Physician Associates.
