After an incredible deputation to our council meeting from care leavers, today we voted to make being care experienced a protected characteristic. This recognises the barriers & stigma care leavers face & is part of Leeds aspiring to be a fierce & aspirational corporate parent.

Discover the Knife Angel, a powerful symbol against violence, now standing in Leeds. Crafted from 100,000 surrendered knives, this monumental sculpture sheds light on the impact of knife crime. Visit Armouries Square to witness its striking presence. #KnifeAngelLeeds #Leeds
